Twenty years ago, the average fashion model weighed 8 percent less than the average woman. Today, she weighs 23 % less.... ! When was the last time we saw a healthy model? Do you remember Whitney Thompson? The plus-sized model that won America's Next Top Model cycle 10, she is full-figured but she is still part of the high-end fashion industry. If Tyra Banks can realise that beauty is not bones then why not the rest of the fashion industry ? If the anorexics, size 0s,00s can be banned, the statistics will change to become much better. (Madrid Fashion Week in 2006, New York Fashion Week 2010 and a few fashion labels- Prada, Versace, Armani as well as Victoria Beckham have banned size 0. This can help create a brighter future for the industry but there are still a large number of models suffering. The sickness that the industry has left behind might be hard to get rid of)
